Programming for the project is officially underway. I am now working on a simple drawing program that will allow the user to draw monochrome pictures with the touchscreen. Once it's done, I'll release it for downloading and testing.

sounds very cool, have you thought of adding a sound recorder, so you can record low quality voice and sound effects via the microphone for the animations?

I was actually thinking about implementing a sound recorder...I think that would be awesome.
when can we be expecting an beta release? looking forward to it.
